Adrian Hong , Director , The Pegasus Project
Mr. Hong is co-founder and former Executive Director of Liberty in North Korea, or LiNK, an international NGO devoted to human rights in North Korea, and the protection of North Korean refugees all over the world. In December of 2006, Mr. Hong was arrested along with 2 LiNK field workers and 6 North Korean refugees in the People's Republic of China and imprisoned before being released and deported.
Mr. Hong currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Mirae Foundation, and was chosen as a 2007 Asia Society Asia 21 Young Leader, a group of the top 200 leaders under 40 from Asia and the US, a 2007 NetKAL Fellow at the University of Southern California's School of Social Work, a "Distinguished Asian American Leader" by the Japanese American Citizens League in 2007, and a "Top Ten Korean Hero" by Radio Korea in 2005. He recently received the JACL's "Vision Award", and was a Visiting Lecturer in 2008 teaching "America, Human Rights and Foreign Policy" at Korea's Ewha University. He was recently selected as a TED 2009 Fellow, and a 2009 Arnold Wolfers Fellow at Yale University.

Bernard is Vice President of the Lunsford Group, which is a private holding company consisting of entities in technology, media, research & consulting, health care, investment boutique and real estate.
Previously, he was Co-founder and VP of Business Development at GoingOn Networks, a social media platform for companies and organizations. He led the initial product development where BusinessWeek recognized the GoingOn platform in their "Best of the Web" list for 2007. He continues to serve as an advisor and also serves as an advisor to Innotive (an interactive multimedia platform).
Previously, he was Director of Strategic Planning & Sales at Innotive Corp. Prior to this, Bernard was a Director at iRG, a leading boutique investment bank in Asia, where he focused on Telecommunications- Media-Technology companies. Prior to iRG, Bernard was VP of Business Development & Marketing at HeyAnita Korea, a leading voice portal and solutions provider, which was joint venture between Softbank and HeyAnita, Inc. Bernard was responsible for establishing strategic and content partnerships and helping to build the company from its conceptual stage to a 54-person operation. Additionally, he assisted in the closing of the company's two rounds of financing totaling $14.5 million, which led to its profitability and over $14 million in revenue.
Prior to HeyAnita, Bernard was Co-Founder and VP of Strategic Development for View Plus, a video-on-demand company where he helped build the company from its concept stage. He secured partnerships with Oracle, Scientific-Atlanta, Liberate, and others to support prototype development and service deployment. He also served as a legislative liaison to Governor Jim Edgar of Illinois.
Bernard was a 2007 NetKAL Fellow at the University of Southern California’s Center for Asian-Pacific Leadership. He completed a post-graduate fellowship with the Coro Foundation. Bernard received his BA in English and Psychology from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and MPA in Telecommunications and New Media Policy from Columbia University. Bernard currently serves on the boards of the Center for Bioethics & Culture, Shih Yu-Lang Central YMCA in San Francisco, The Mirae Foundation, Coro National Alumni Association, and Liberty in North Korea (LiNK). He also was Co-Chair of KASCON VI in Chicago.

Joe Ahn began his career eighteen years ago in government affairs working for a non-profit higher education association in California. Joe currently advises corporate management on state legislative, regulatory and political matters at Northrop Grumman Corporation, a Fortune 100 company headquartered in Los Angeles, California with 120,000 employees worldwide. Prior to joining Northrop Grumman, Joe served in positions of increasing responsibility in California state and local government. Joe was appointed by California Governor Gray Davis as deputy director of the Technology, Trade and Commerce Agency where he managed economic development programs for the largest trade zone in the state. His other state service includes serving as deputy chief of staff to California State Board of Equalization Vice-Chair John Chiang, and as legislative aide to the California Assembly Ways and Means Committee Vice-Chair. In between his state service, Joe served as public affairs liaison for Los Angeles County District Attorney Gil Garcetti and chief deputy to Los Angeles Board of Education Member George Kiriyama. Since 1992, Joe has provided campaign advice to numerous candidates seeking public office, including the Clinton/Gore Re-Election Campaign in 1996. Joe has also been recognized for his years of volunteers service to the community including, being selected as KSCI International Channel “Role Model of the Month”; Board Director of the Year, Korean American Coalition of Los Angeles; Coordinating Councils of Los Angeles County Service Award Recipient; California State University, Fullerton’s Alumni Association Service Award Recipient; First Asian American Student Body President, California State University, Fullerton. In his leisure time Joe enjoys reading about political history, fine dining and traveling abroad, and following Los Angeles sports teams.

Stephen Suh is a senior program examiner at the White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB). Currently he is responsible for homeland security programs. Stephen has also covered law enforcement, research & development, intelligence, transportation, and economic development programs. Stephen also worked at the Department of Energy as technical advisor on nuclear non-proliferation issues. Outside of government, Stephen has worked as a consultant for then-KMPG Consulting, primarily focused on tax administration and policy in developing countries. In addition, Stephen worked abroad as an instructor at the Yanbian University of Science and Technology in Yanbian, China.
Stephen holds a BS in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics from UCLA, a Masters in Public Policy from the University of Michigan, and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Maryland. Eugene Yoon is an associate at the law firm of Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP. His practice currently focuses on securities matters, including private placements and public offerings of debt and equity securities.
Prior to his transition to law, he worked in Morgan Stanley’s investment banking division in Asia, executing on securities offerings, M&A transactions and debt restructurings. In addition, he has had a broad range of experiences in various inter-governmental and government organizations, which include the U.S. Department of Justice, the U.S. Department of State, the United Nations and the South Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. While in college, he took a two and a half year leave of absence to serve in the Republic of Korea Army.
Eugene recieved a JD degree from Harvard Law School and a MPP degree from the John. F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard. He holds a BBA degree, summa cum laude, from Seoul National University in South Korea. In addition, he has also studied at Georgetown University the Stern School of Business at NYU, the University of Michigan and the London School of Economics in London, England. While in law school, he was Co-Chair of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association and remains involved as a Co-Chair Emeritus
Originally from the Washington D.C. area, Eugene spent many of his formative years in Seoul, South Korea. He enjoys travelling and football(soccer) and supports the Boston Red Sox.

Richard is a Management & Program Analyst in the Office of Postsecondary Education with the U.S. Department of Education. Richard’s work involves monitoring and program evaluation of Teacher and Student Development Programs. Before joining the Department of Education Richard taught Economics and United States history for seven years at a high performing blue ribbon high school just outside of Chicago. During his time teaching Richard also did work for a non-profit as a field liaison serving underprivileged hill tribe orphans in Southeast Asia. Richard also has a background in management and benefits consulting, spending two years in the industry out of college.
Richard holds a Masters of Education in International Education Policy from Harvard University, a Masters of Education in Curriculum & Development from the University of Illinois, and a Bachelors degree in Finance from the University of Illinois.
Richard’s other activities include serving on the Board of the Elijah Foundation, a non-profit that provides funding and support to orphanages in Southeast Asia, as well as serving on the Local School Council of Peterson Elementary school in Chicago Illinois. Read more
